Irina leads Affini’s strategy, product, and partnerships. Over a 25-year progressive career, she built operating models and partner ecosystems at global companies including Illumina, Baxter, DJO, and Diageo, after starting at Deloitte Consulting. She holds an MBA, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame, has worked in 8 countries, and speaks 5 languages.
CTO
Andrew leads Affini’s technology, from the member-facing platform to the AI matching engine. A software architect and an expert in AI-assisted development, he previously founded Refurbo, where he built custom CRM and warehouse systems integrated with Amazon and eBay. He holds degrees in Computer Science and Civil Engineering from Kyiv, Ukraine.
Research & Scientific Partner
Dr. Megan Chan designed Affini’s matching methodology, grounded in network science research. She earned her PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences at Northwestern University, studying how teams evolve and succeed in the SONIC (Science of Networks in Communities) lab. She is now an Assistant Professor at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
